Picture from the “Bible“ of Russian Coins by the Grand Duke Georgii Mikhailovich: Monnaies de l'Empire de Russie (1894)
Though very influent as a relative of the Tsar, the Grand Duke did not own this rare coin (no mintmark), it was out of his reach in the Novgorod museum,
all he got was the picture to insert in the Corpus. The coin came to the West in the early 1930s with the HESS sale entitled DUBLETTEN RUSSISCHER MUSEEN.
This Mikhailovich picture was “borrowed“ by all the later catalogs as Brekke, Bitkin, Dyakov, Yusupov, etc.
I don't know where it spent all the time, it surfaced in the March 2018 KÜNKER auction. See the real coin below.
